In the past week or so, the islands at the top left of the have shown up as blue squares. No terrain detail shows up no matter how long I wait. Why? How do I get my terrain back? The minimap shows everything normally, but the world map doesn't.
I have a pic, but there doesn't seem to be a way to attach it to this post.

I think everyone is seeing it. I posted about it in Second Life Answers (where you ask for official Linden response) last week some time and it was answered it would be fixed Asap. One week later, and still the same, so i posted again here. Now we just wait for an official answer.

This is specificaly for tech issuses,yes. The other forum is for answers of any kind,not limited to tech. Its a good forum to read,find lots of interesting tidbits there lol.

Just a clarification too: SL Answers isn't for technical issues pertaining to individuals, but this is clearly visible by everyone in Second Life, so it's broadly affecting the community. Also, this actual Technical Issues forum is useful to compile and share experiences so we can get a better lock on what's happening as we discuss, but it's not a substitute for bug reports (which should still be filed when you have a good repro) or support. And yeah it will be nice to see the map back. _____________________

I'll add an even weirder bit to it. Our island, Rainbow Tiger, is within the new blue zone area. Island appears as a large blue block, just like the others. We purchased a second island and had it moved from where it was located, up to adjoin ours. This new island kept its old image and graphics for 2 days there, then suddenly reverted to the plain blue like all the others. I don't know if that helps any with diagnostics, but I thought I would offer it for info.
