I got SL and installed it but as soon as the program gets to the handshake it stops, then says that there is a "packet loss." Any one have a clue why?

What is your internet connection, also are you on wireless too? Usualy this is a bad/slow connection to Second Lifes server. |

nope- not on wireless

I have a cable internet connection thats pretty reliable, so I dont think its that... could it have to do with my security settings?
