System Failing To Report Sales

I have noticed since even before 1.6 that the system is no longer reporting my direct-item sales to my chat window. For example, if someone buys one of my StarGlobes or Kickboxing Gloves... I receive no chat notice of it. It doesn't tell me about it in my chat history... and doesn't report it to my email if I'm not online.

I have contacted Linden Labs several times about this. They literally don't appear to be able to understand what I'm talking about. The system at one time reported ALL sales to the chat window... and to email if a user was not online. Has anyone else noticed this problem? What happened?

sounds like a vendor problem...

i made my own vendor script and every single sale i make gets emailed to a dedicated email account... so i know who bought what and at which location...

But that's all i know, the character name alone, the product that was bought and where they bought it... the ONLY use this information has is making sure i don't pay rent at a place where it doesn't pay for its own rent and since all of my stuff is no-transfer, i can provide replacements. Even if someone loses what they bought in the database, i can confirm that they did infact purchase it and they couldn't have transfered it, so here's a record of the sale, here's a replacement. have a nice day...

The fact is this, you shouldn't rely on the built in functions if you want receipts for everything going into the chat window. You might as well just not even worry about it. Make a vendor script that emails a dedicated mail account. Personally i use Yahoo so that my yahoo messanger notifies me of any sales...

And I always look at all the sales made because my vendor even detects if there was a problem with giving the persont he product. That way, i can furnish them with the product if for some reason a database error prevents it.

No.. no vendor. As I said, direct item sales.

Yes actually..I didn't think of it much in light of all the other issues this past week. But I have been able to log in a few times for brief period and saw an increase in funds yet no report of sales. (definitely not complaining, but where did it come from?)
