So in my boredom and curiousity I checked the download section.....and sure enough a new client...I was runnin 0.2.1 and what is out now is 0.2.3 so the notification even missed a previous update...... |

| Mark Linden Funky Linden Monkey Join date: 20 Nov 2002 Posts: 179 | 12-23-2002 14:38 The client doesn't always know that there's been a new version made available; it only is notified when there's been a change in the network protocol. So, every once in a while we release a minor update to the client that doesn't actually get auto-detected. This isn't that big of a deal; the client updates of this type almost always are to fix bugs that only affect first timers. If there's ever a notable fix, your client will let you know. In other words, it's not really a bug, so much as a feature that helps us reduce load a bit.  |
