I am growing tired of being ignored and so am trying this rather more public way of getting help whilst hopefully alerting other users to an apparant bug or issue with using Lindex inworld.

On the 16th October I attempted to purchase 15000 L$ via lindex whilst in world. The system informed me that it was unable to process my request and that I had not been charged the $55.45.

No worries thought I, I will try later. Later I tried and sucessfully purchased L$, again whilst in world. Upon checking my email later in the evening I recieved two notifications from paypal suggesting that both the initial failed transaction and the subsequent successful one had been charged to my account. This proved indeed to be the case.

No worries I thought....I will email billing they will sort it for me. Not so....BIG WORRY.

Billing insist that I was not charged for the unsuccessful transaction and after asking for a copy of the paypal reciept suddenly went silent. Despite (quite a few) emails from me asking for an update or if they had found the elusive $55.45 I hear nothing....zilch.

I have been nice....I understand that these things can take time to sort out but hell...at least an email saying please be patient we are looking into it would be nice (even professional). To be repeatedly ignored makes me more determined to have an answer and my money back....not less so.

Paypal inform me that they would only ever send a payment if it was requested by the company concerned. I have a reciept to say that this was the case. I am sorry but it is not good enough for LL to simply state we did not request or recieve $55.45 when the evidence is damning to the contrary.

Can someone please tell me if this is a known issue and everyone in general if it is safe to use Lindex in world as a result?
