I might have posted in wrong forum, I'm quite new at this forum getting to know around. let me repost

I have a big problem..I would appreciate if anyone helps me. My computer has the requirement but the second life won't play and it says that i have out of date driver or whatever. The link to source is "not found" and I am stuck here. Please help.

Yup, this is the correct forum for technical help.

First, do you know what video card you actually have? If not, the address SL tries to get you to go to might be helpful. Can you post it here?

Second, what kind of computer do you have? Do you know any of its specs? Is it a laptop? A prefabricated computer? (such as a Dell, HP, etc.)

If so, can you post the manufacturer and model? I'm looking for a name like "Dell Inspiron 750", or something similar. (Obviously, yours will differ.)

The thing is I could fix it in general - preference but I can't even get to that part. I do have all supporting parts and for sillyness sake the game refuses ? I'm a computer builder n fixer and this is boggling my mind. So i'm seeking for some extra help. I appreciate it. I even looked for updates of AGP drivers but there appearly is nothing on Shuttle.com so I've looked elsewhere and seem not able to find it... I guess what i could do is wait til i get another computer (plan to buy a newer up to date) motherboard n stuff.

Have you tried looking on NVidia's website? They should have free updates for all of their drivers.

THis is what it said in tech error page

SiS AGP Chipset drivers
Second Life has detected that you have out of date AGP drivers for your SiS-based motherboard that could potentially cause performance and stability problems when running Second Life.

I have clicked the link for that and it was "not found"

Let me try what you suggested Little. *looks*

Looks like Shuttle has completely phased out that MB and has stopped supporting it.

You can try his page and maybe find something that works.

This may be what you need

Chipset Driver --> IDE Driver --> WinXP
