This is driving me nuts! -_- Every 30 seconds in world I get a message like this: "Tringo Card: Since you left the game, your tringo card will be returned." When I checked my e-mail I had 860 messages from SL telling me about the damn tringo card! I changed the option so I won't get emails but I'm constantly getting spamed about this object... I looked around in the forums but didn't find much...Is there any way to fix this? I play tringo all over the place so I have no idea where this object is! And I definately don't have a tringo card in my inventory...am I SOL?

Sounds like poor scripting by the creator of Tringo. I say this because it appears the IM is from Tringo itself, not a generic object return message from SL. My suggest is to IM the creator of the Tringo script, of the creator of the Tringow card, and ask for a fix.

I wonder what an effective way to trace this back and stop the messages would be -- Kermitt Quirk should know, since he is the inventor of the popular Tringo game. I suggest that in the meantime, you MUTE the messages. You can do this by going to your Chat History... now, if you look in the dropdown menu, you'll notice that not only can you mute other Avatars, but objects sending messages as well. Hopefully the Tringo thing will appear in there, and for the time, you can hush it. Hope this works for you.

Yeah, that doesn't sound like an error message from SL, but rather something the scripter put in.
Mute the object like The Great Almighty Torley says, and then go to every single last place you played Tringo at in the past few weeks and see if you can't see anything of yours lying around. If that doesn't help, find the creator of Tringo and ask if they can help.

I would highly reccommend getting a Gmail account for SL. I sold some land and got 41 messages returning my pretty little trees. But because they were all from the same plot of land, they end up in one thread, with one slot in my inbox all nice and neat. If it had been Yahoo or any other client, it would have take two pages of my inbox.

I use apple's iMail, but IMs from SecondLife get all bunched up since the subject is Message from SecondLife always... It'd be nice if the subject also included the person's name or something...
