Output from a dialogue box

This is a very easy question, but I cant find that answer. I have created a dialogue box, but I want it to say whatever is typed into the text line input field when the user presses the button. It would basically do an llsay, but I dont know if llSay works in the source code or if there is another function I could call to achieve the same results. Thank you for your time.
