Second Life has suddenly developed issues with my Intel graphics controller driver. Not sure if it is because of SL or my computer's driver itself. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Everything ran fine last night. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Corruption?

Wierd! Have you ruled out data corruption? I know its a freakishly small chance, but it could be your drivers got b0rked somehow. I would re-install them; and also try some other games/benchmark tools... watch them CAREFULLY and look for graphical glitches or other problems - could be a sign of impending hardware failure. Good Luck! Take care, --Noel "HB" Wade (Tread Whiplash)

The Intel Extreme graphics are not officially supported.
That said, did you do a Windows XP update recently? One of the recent updates includes a new version of the Intel Extreme drivers, which doesn't work right with SL.

You're right Carnildo, it was the update. I uninstalled the new Intel driver and reinstalled my Nvidia driver (not sure why it was uninstalled in the first place). SL works! Thanks for your suggestions everyone
