I hope I'm posting in the right place.
Help! I put the wrong thing on the floor because I thought I had to open it. Now I have a script error on the floor that won't go away. The item is called Be Happy Attachment, I got it free somewhere. I tried putting it in the trash but that didn't do anything, I can still restore it, I haven't deleted it completely. I tried emptying the cache and the temp internet files, and restarting the comp, but that didn't do anything, that little paper icon with the error remains on the floor and in the chat box.
Please tell me there is a way to get that image off of the floor, and what I have to do.
Thanks, Pinky

Is it an object or a script?
Things in your inventory, unless they say they're being worn, aren't running - the scripts in them are sorta in hibernation. If you're seeing script errors, you must have brought the "Be Happy" thing into the world.
If it's an object, if it looked like a box in your inventory, but you can't see any more, turn on Highlight Transparent in the View menu. That'll make hidden objects turn reddish so you can see them. Once you find it, just right-click it and delete it.
If it's a script, sorta looked like a little piece of paper with writing in your inventory, by dragging it to the floor, you added that script to your floor object. Right-click the floor and do Edit. On the edit window that pops up, click the More>> button, if it's there, then click the Contents tab. The Contents tab shows you what the floor contains - find the script in there, click on it then press the delete key.
If you really can't find it, post the location where you're seeing the script error - I'll come by and help (if nobody beats me to it) in an hour or so...

The Be Happy attachment is an invisible sphere containing a script that makes your avie smile; usually you wear it, and it will attach automatically to your mouth or something and make your avie smile nastily (ok, the nasty part is just my opinion).
It is probably copiable, which means that when you rezzed one on the floor the original copy remained in your inventory. Deleting your inventory copy will not make any difference to the one that's now on your floor complaining.
Like Meade said, turn on Highlight Transparent in the View menu (up top of your screen) when you're online, and you should see a dim reddish sphere on the ground. Right click on it and Delete it!
p.s. oh and welcome to the forums!

I was cleaning/sorting my inventory and maybe I was tired, but I dragged the attachment from my inventory to the floor instead of clicking wear. My problem is this one you listed; If it's a script, sorta looked like a little piece of paper with writing in your inventory, by dragging it to the floor, you added that script to your floor object. Right-click the floor and do Edit. On the edit window that pops up, click the More>> button, if it's there, then click the Contents tab. The Contents tab shows you what the floor contains - find the script in there, click on it then press the delete key. I tried that, but I can't open the contents file, it doesn't do anything I guess, because it is a pre made house. There is nothing listed under the contents folder, and right clicking to open doesn't do anything. That little paper icon just remains on the floor with the script error running; Be Happy Attachment: Script trying to trigger animations but PERMISSION_TRIGGER_ANIMATION permission not set I can't believe I did this, do you have any other suggestions?

Nika seems to know this Be Happy Attachment thing - see her (her?) post under mine..
Did you try enabling Highlight Transparent in the View menu then looking around for something that sorta looks like a red see-thru sphere?
