Can't start SL after update.

When I try to enter SL on my laptop pc (where it used to work beautifully before), the game crashes and starts the crash logger immediately before I even get to the login/options screen. Anyone else enjoying this new feature? This happened both in the emergency patched new viewer and the 'gray texture lag' viewer before it.

Ran fine the first time the new update installed. Now I am trying to log back in and it crashes. First I get the crash logger even though I didn't crash. I clicked OK to send a report and now it crashes after the report is sent. Everytime it is the same thing, the crash logger comes up and whether I click yes or no, it crashes.

I am downloding the update manually and reinstalling. I'll see if that helps.

Yes, I too have a laptop and SL ran great just a few days ago. Now when I log in I get the infamous greyness and extreme lag. I start to rez slowly but the lag is so bad I havent even bothered playing yet. I don't know what to do about it.
