A keyboard problem I had not experienced for several months was reintroduced with the latest release. Every few minutes (sometimes 5 sometimes 60), the arrow keys in my keyboard will stop functioning within Second Life, meaning I cannot move my avatar unless I use the HUD's movement keys, which I find awkward to use. The arrow keys work with any other application I switch to from my SL window. In order to temporarily correct the problem, I need to log off and log back in. Pretty annoying. I have a run-of-the-mill HP PC with a standard keyboard and Windows XP. I hope it gets fixed next release. Thanks. Pablo

I was getting a similar bug, last two days. After some minutes, sometimes 20, or maybe 60 when i was better, the keyboard just changes itws configuration to another region, you know, I'm from Spain and Letters are arranged in a specifical way, but then when it wants, the question marks, exclamation, double dots and so switch (only inside SL) and is a mess to keep on that way. I wish this gets fixed soon

Strangely, I can open any other application and the keyboard handling is fine, it's only within SL that I get strange character substitution. A relog fixes the problem, often for more than an hour.

Some zoom/pan/camera movement key combos in SL matches those that changes your keyboard language in windows. And this sucks for us who use a foreign language version of windows. In your windows control panel, open the region and language settings, go to the tab language, click details. (Sorry if it isnt 100% correct, my windows is Norwegian) At the bottom right there, there is a button named "keyboard settings" or something along that line. Click it. Double-click and open up all those (i have 3) keyboard configs, and just remove the key sequences that changes language by unchecking the boxes that comes up.
