Running on a cable modem, with no router, and found after installing 1.7.0.53 that it is disconnecting my cable modem. Just before it does, I notice huge packet loss spikes, then the modem disconnects. Log out of SL and it reconnects, then log back in and it disconnects again within a few minutes. Not having a problems staying connected with anything else.

So far the new update is playing havoc with my cable modem & disconnecting me. Then I have to shut down, power cycle the cable modem & router, then turn the system back on. I've been trying it with & without the router & it still does the same thing. Very annoying! And after getting it all back up N running again I tried more bandwidth intensive games & stuff and they work just fine!! Ping'd other sites before & after both and it's only the new update to SL that's causing it.

DARNIT!!! I need my SL Fix!!! ;)

Yes everytime SL crashes or I log out it attempts to disconnect my DSL and sometimes suceeds. At the very least it stops my Live 365 player for a second and fills my PC with molasses for a minute or two. This never happened before 1.7. In fact I hardly ever crashed before 1.7.
