Bonjour, from france !
This concerns Mac Book Pro computers (and maybe laptops in general).
Since the last SL upgrade, my keyboard shortcuts to move my view around aren't responding anymore.
I used to use [shift] + [ctrl] + [alt] + arrows to move cam up, down or sideways, and
I used to use [ctrl] + [alt] + arrows to pivot the camera angle.

These shortcuts are 99% of the time not doing anything anymore. Instead, [ctrl] + [alt] + up arrow now types the last thing i said in the chat, and i can scroll back in time and re-use stuff i already said... which I think is waaaay less useful than being able to move the cam around with keyboard shortcuts.

Does anyone have an idea on how to restore my previous configuration, allowing me to edit all camera movements using just the keyboard ? Again, this is on a laptop (Mac Book Pro Core 2 Duo).

Have you sent a bug report? as I certainly have, I can not function with out it, The mouse is to cumbersome for this, well my moose<ROFL I cant spell or type either LOL> is to fast/loose like I like it.

I have had to revert to camera controls and I hate to use them if I'm not trying to get real close.

another bug/feature LOL

cant keep unrestricted cam controls ticked in the client menu any more damn have to goto it each time I want to cam down from the house to the club and land to set the url for music. and I cant find a radio controller that will work on it that far away (group land)

aaaaah ok ! thanx ! so lindens are actually sometimes ADDING bugs to the new versions they release... ok... no wonder why they never see the end of the tunnel...

Features... they're called features

SL wouldn't be half as fun if the Lindens didn't keep us on our toes by habitually breaking things that worked perfect before

.

While waiting for the fix to make it into a new client, you can close the chat bar (Just click on Chat when it's highlighted) and the camera controls will work proper. It's not a very convenient work-around, but it might help some depending on what you're trying to do.
