Unable to connect to SL.. The system may be down...Please Try again

Hellllllllllllllllllllllllp!!!!!

I was in Second Life for about 2 hours today and all the sudden I was logged out. I keep getting this message when I try to log in. Unable to connect to second life. The system may be down. Please try again in a few minutes, or click Help for advice and link to the system status web page. I have been trying for the last hour. I reinstalled SL. I changed the preference for me to start at my home location and not where I last was. And I turned off my firewall. Can someone help me please???

im having this exact same problem right now, keeps saying SL is down. And the help button dosent do anything either. no webpage or fuction at all

I had this problem a couple of times myself. In one instance I was able to log back in through map snapshots (from the main sl website). Figured it worked as a kind-of backdoor into a different sim which wasn't having issues?
(However now we only seem to be able to link (login to sl) through the main snapshot? --it would be nice if we could link through all snapshots)

i just reinstalled, apparently it took care of it for me. hope it works for you two aswell

yea see i am going through the same thing and i tried to get rid of it and reinstall it but i have had no such luck.maybe more aproaches to the solution can be stated...please and thank you.
