waa i cant get on sl |

Everytime i try getting on sl it gets stuck at the beginning of logging in. And it says second life (not responding) -.- and i know its not my mediacom down..because i can get on second life preview and i can go on the web....

It's possible the sim you're logging into, or the login server itself, is down. I can't get on either.
Wouldn't it be nice if we had some sort of online/offline indicator on the front page? Many, if not most, other MMORPGs do this. |

yeah good idea..i know its not the sim because i went to one of those links where it logs u in a new sim..still wouldnt work

Try logging into 'Home' and not 'Last Location' If that doesn't work, try reinstalling 1.6.12. I had that happen to me earlier this week, and it works fine now.

Reports as of approximately 7pm PDT were that there was a login server issue and the Lindens were working on it.

Nothing's even loading, just like you said. It isn't frozen, because I can use the "quit" button at the bottom right of the screen to get out of it.

I was *just* about to make a Hotline post about this same problem...
this is why they screamed IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO START A NEW ONE! And, as such. I was worried that mine was botched. I tried restarting, did a complete re-install, and more. I have no problem logging into 1.7 though. I was pretty worried :x But, I guess, if it is the same problem as here, someone will resolve it. I was pretty worried :x But, I guess, if it is the same problem as here, someone will resolve it. Thank you, someone yaa i restarted my whole comp and then re-installed it the thing is the sim i was last in is where my home is |
