Debug Rendering Tree Options - Do they do anything?

They don't seem to do anything. I don't like the way the Linden trees work. They change so much and so abruptly as you approach them, it its very unsatisfying to me. But sometimes the view surrounding your land is unpleasant enought to use even the unsatisfying Linden trees. Do the Debug Rendering Tree Options offer any way to make the view of tree remain more stable as you change distance from it?

Good question!! I was wondering the same thing myself ^)_^) You can turn them completely off, but then the terrain looks kinda empty.

Perhaps a Linden can explain to us why they made the trees all wishy-washy, swaying like blades of grass in a field? Freaks me out .... Sometimes I think they are watching me...

yes, I've wondered about that too. If it's possible to tweak the trees detail level more specifically than the slider in you graphics options, that would be handy.

You don't like the tree-swaying?

I think its critical to my sense of immersion and reality.
Please don't take it away !

I wish I could turn it on for player-created trees.

We're all so different, aren't we ? Isn't that nice ?
