Crashing

hi i am new here just joined but i can't seem to be able to log on at all it keeps coming up with this crash message any ideas why this is or how i can fix it?

First thing to check is system specs.

You might also have a corrupt download. If your system checks out, consider downloading the client from another computer and burn to CD. That's to get around possible communication issues that might have damaged the download.

A lot of people also have been reporting crashes. I have no idea what's causing it because most of us don't crash.

Is it happening when you log in, or in-game?

If SL doesn't actually start it's likely to be a driver problem, if it crashes while you're in-game it could be something else.
