Why is my ability to post an attachment in the general forum turned off?

Something to do with the forums overloading I think. You can still put pics in if you upload them to Imageshack or Photobucket or something similar then use the [img]tags.

Yes--attachments accumulate quickly, and sometimes the forums have database issues from being stuffed. But no fear, an external image host as AJ pointed out will give you all the visual benefits... it may be less "integrated" but I use them myself.

http://www.photobucket.com recently multipled their space to give you 1 GB of free hosting... something nice to play with. :)
