Whenever I try to log into SL, as soon as the loading bar reaches the end and is about to finish and actually get into the game, the entire program instantaneously shuts downandthe crash logger starts. This has happened every time I tried to log in. Anyone know what I needto do to fix this?

Have you logged in before using your current set up?
Tell us your computer, CPU brand, speed, video card memory etc. Any and all info you can give.
First thing you need to try is making sure everything you have is using the latest drivers available. Video, motherboard, sound, NIC etc.
Uninstall SL completely and reinstall turning off anti-virus and anything Norton's. This cures a lot of problems.
Go into your video properties and make sure the anti-alias and anthristropic filtering are set to "application controlled" especially on an ATI card, my 9800pro would do that if AA and AF were set too high.

This just recently happened to me and the only thing that worked was uninstalling & reinstalling. Good luck!

Probably no need to reinstall, just try deleting your cache when this happens.
