Prims missing until edited??

Just over the last few days, since the weekend attack actually, I've noticed a lot of prims that _seem_ to be missing. Parts of buildings, prim hair & shoes, bunny attachment ears, etc.. Sometimes, it's just some parts of a link set. Other people are also seeing (or, rather, not seeing) the same things missing, some see nothing missing, some see other things missing..

This is not lag.. I give things plenty of time to rez, I watch the texture downloads finish up, I watch the Objects network stat settle down to a gurgle. Distance does not matter: It can be building prims people are standing on or things off in the distance.

One slightly weird thing is that if somebody who can see the object edits or sits on it, everybody else can suddenly see the whole thing. If I see 1/2 a linked building, I can edit (not change - just right-click and edit) and the whole thing pops into view. It's like the interest list is getting borked and some things, to some people, just won't appear until somebody forces an update...

Anybody else seeing this?

That happened with my store the other day when I tried the Release Candidate Client. That and the laggyness made me go back to the non-voice client. Maybe it's some issue with the latest clients. never had that issue before that day.

Just asking around and it seems to be happening with both the standard and Release Candidate viewers.. Really only started noticing it Saturday night, after the stupid dollar sign drama queens visited..

Also, I've cleared my cache and even deleted the cache directory.
