Unable to access a file.

Hello:

Yesterday I lost my service from my ISP ( lost connection), in the most inoportunant (sp,sorry) moment.

I'm trying to log in in my lap, I have the minimum requirements, so I installed the "Second Life 1-9-0-21 Setup" file here, but everytime I try to launch the game, it says this:

"Second life is unable to access a file that it needs.

This can be because you somehow have multiple copies running, or your system incorrectly thinks a file is open. IF this message persist, restart your computer and try again. If it continues to persist you may need to completly uninstall Second Life and reinstall it."

I did all described below... and still can not login!, looked for a solution in the Tech FAQ, and nothing.

If anybody knows how to solve this, or if you would be so kind to link me a thread that gives the solution, I will really thank you.

It is not a matter of "I want to play badly"... I'm trying to login to just say "I'm sorry "

Thx Thili... I read that post, changed user, but it did not solve the problem.

I think it is too late now... I´ll patiently wait until my ISP will work again.

I hoave carefully read all post say about this problem, but i have also the problem and here is why:

Due to an error on my system, i was in obligation to format my HD, before that SL was working great. So today morning all was right, today night after format and all reinstall SL say that it is unable to access a files....

My folder name on /Documents & Setting was simple before format but as i'm a belgian user and french speaking the Win XP install call he directory as "Propriétaire"

So the "é" completely block all my attempt...and i have not the possibility to change this...

Any idea on what can i do?
I'm really sad about all of this...i have lost all my files in this format and now SL won't be able to launch...what a sad day!

yeh im hoping 1.9.1 comes out soon, cause they have already found a way to make it work now, only way you can get in is to make another user in control panel / user, or make your old with normal letters.
