Hi i'm hoping that somehow someone hasn't put some kind of wierd keylogger or something so i am double checking
yesterday i had about 50 simultaneous attempts to reach my computer while i was playing second life (normaly have none surprisingly no one tries to poke around in my system..)
today i have this dos screen everytime second life is booting up behind the actual windows applet
it looks harmless but i want to make sure something strange is not going on security wise?
is this dos window now normal ? i have never had one before
if this isn't answered quicky because i am worried about keyloggers (wont be the first time someone managed to attach one to a gaming site i used)as we just had a new update how can i find out for sure if this dos screen is safe or not? in a timely fashion is there a person i can IM from LL?
thanks in advance (not like i have loads of wealth or anything but still ...)

thanks in advance (not like i have loads of wealth or anything but still ...) before you open SL, hit ctrl + alt + delete once and then check your "Processes". Now open SL and check your prosseses. Check for differences to see what opens. You'll be able to notice that the dos applet or w/e. Just click "End Task". (this is for windows xp only). Now, click start, run, and type msconfig. Check the "start up" and also the "services" tab. Look for anything that looks a bit weird and uncheck it and also check to see if that process that opens when u open SL also is under any of those. If not then ok. Maybe uninstall and make sure u delete the SL folder from your pc. Then redownload it and reinstall. If you have a keylogger, chances are its in your start up files somewehre. Also make sure you check the "start up" folder on your start menu because anything in there will start up when windows does.

Candide's right; this is most likely something you've turned on from our own Debug window. Deactivating it and restaring Second Life should help.
Second Life makes a number of connections from a number of different servers as you use the software; perhaps your firewall is reacting poorly to our viewer?
