I downloaded and installed 1.9.0.4. Every attempt to login is met with the 'new version available...' error message, and forced download and reinstall. This was a clean install; I didn't have any version of 1.8 installed, and no Second Life directories on the hard drive. Also, I deleted all Linden and SL keys from the registry before running the Install routine initially. The last version I had on this machine was 1.8 Preview.

From: BlackAdder York Unless it's been closed for a week, that's probably not the answer. It was officially closed last tuesday, it briefly opened later in the week although not officially, and then reclosed on friday night. |
