With the release of 1.7.5 I seem to have lost the ability to use shift+home in chat to highlight all text from the end the beginning of the line. This only affects the chat bar and no other user interface elements. I think it's a bug personally. I've verified this with four machines all using the Windows viewer.
Here's how to reproduce it:
1. Open chat and type a line of text.
2. hit shift and home to try to highlight from the end of the line to the beginning.
3. You must backspace each character out individually or at keyboard scan rate speed.
Expected behavior is:
1. Open chat and type a line of text.
2. Hit shift and home to highlight from the end of the line to the beginning.
3. Hit escape to clear the line of text.
The work around is if you want to highlight the entire line of text, hit escape, then hit enter again to re-open chat. The entire line will be highlighted. That's easy enough unless you're building and someone walks up to you. Hitting escape will close edit before it closes your chat line. ><
Maybe it's just me but this drove me absolutely batpoop last night trying to build and talk i spatial at the same time. This is a basic Windows and Mac key combination for editing text and I've used it so long it's like missing a thumb.
