I have credited my (basic) SL account using PayPal for 25US$. However Lindenx will not let me buy Linden$ from this in-credit account Every time I try to make a purchase I get the following message: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are unable to complete your request. . This transaction would exceed your daily billing limit by US$6.91. You have already billed US$25.00 of your daily billing limit US$25.00. . The system encountered an error while processing your order, please try again.
Order Summary Description: Buy Linden Dollar Order for L$1750 Estimated Price: US$6.91
Payment Method PayPal ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ There is no explanation and no on-site help. More significantly Linden have willingly taken a payment of $25 from me, but are not willing to give an e-mail contact address for me to ask them what has happened to my money.
Any help would be gratefully received

Ahhh daily limit.
There is onsite explanations and help. Go to My Account, and Trading limits.
Wait a day or two. Your money most likely is there, you just cannot buy the Lindens at the moment.
Just ... whatever you do... do NOT go to an unsanctioned outside source such as Ebay. You'll be in more trouble than it's worth.

Many thanks JessyAnne, but I dont think this is the problem:
I bought my trading limit of 25$ credit, and have not yet succeeded in buying any Linden, not even up to my 10$ trading limit.
SL has apparently debited my credit card (according to PayPal) but I cannot access the 25$. Moreover there are no open, pending or completed transactions in Transaction History.
Giving Linden the benefit of the doubt perhaps it really does take several days to clear a credit card payment, but if this was the case the error message could certainly be more specific and informative - at least a warning of such a delay should be issued

Finally completed LindeX transaction

After repeatedly trying over the last 48 hours I finally succeeded in buying my Linden from the US$ account.
I would like to recommend to Linden Lab that they explicitly state that there will be a lag in the RL system rather than simply stating "there is an error" - after all we are dealing with real money!
