New to this, need some help

Hello, I found out about SL and thought I would try it out. But I can't play it at all. It starts with a detecting hardware screen and then tells me that my video drivers need to be updated or are unsupported. I need to know which. I'm not a programmer or anything, so feel free to talk to me like I'm an idiot. This is what I have

Dell Inspiron 1501 Laptop
Windows Vista 32 bit
Ait Radeon Xpress 1150

Can my system play this game?

Your AMD / ATI graphics chips aren't 'officially' supported in SL. Then again, its not known that they WON'T work. Go here for the latest drivers:
http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

If that doesn't fix it, report back...

Oh, one other thinig, I have looked into updating drivers already, and my puter says it already has the most current drivers. So I downloaded the Catalyst 7.5 update through Dell and I'm still having problems. Again thanks in advance for your help.

Sterling, thanks for your help. I went to the site and figure out that I had downloaded the wrong one. So I downloaded the right one and got to the log in screen. There was an update that I had to download first so I haven't offically gotten into the game, but I wanted to come here and thank you for your help before I go in and get lost in it for awhile. Thanks again!
