SL Crashes with the Medion Radeon 9800XL

My System Components:

System Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Motherboard
CPU Typ AMD Athlon XP-A, 1833 MHz (5.5 x 333) 2500+
Motherboard Name ASRock K7S8X
Motherboard Chipsatz SiS 746FX
RAM 768 MB (DDR SDRAM)

Graphicscard MEDION RADEON 9800XL Secondary (128 MB)
Graphicscard MEDION RADEON 9800XL (128 MB) both set in on AGP-Port
3D-Accelerator ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (R350)

SL crashes one time at the startup (before i login) , next time when i load from the server, other time before the logon window is open, but always 1 till 3 minutes after start playing..
can someone help me here please ?

I was having this same problem. So I just kept trying. Later I decided I would try to update my video card driver. And now I don't crash OFTEN, I still have the occasional crash, maybe 1 every 5-6 hours though. Hope this helps, if not then maybe someone else can help.

I now have buyed a new card.

But try this:

New Driver ATI Catalyst 7.1 from January 2007

or

Try Omega Driver 7.1 für ATI 9800

or

try FIRST LOOK (download here on this Page)

since this Saturday i've only black screen - and there was no new update......

ive tryed it but no one from that what you said works with my card or second life...
which card do you use know... i want to buy me a new one too..

I want to actual my driver for the graphiccard... hope it works..
at the moment it complete never works
