Firstly, i have reported this bug.

I bought new land today, since then i constantly get the blue popups which causes lag.

I cleared the land and no scripts are running, whatever it is in the same sim but in some parts the pop ups stop.

I took off all attachments.

If I teleport out of the sim the pop ups keep going for a time then stop.

Its driving me batty, anyone else had this problem?

Yes!

In my case it was an old pre 1.4 dance-o-matic that was spamming me, but I imagine it can be anything scripted to animate you that has not properly released permissions on you....

look for every chair, couch, dance machine, etc that you may own, Show muted text when looking.... Also may be one you dont own...

Pick it up into inventory or reset it... or beat the poop out of the owner until they pick it up or reset it....

Or call a Linden in if you don't own it

OH, it could also be an attachment... did you take everything off?

Yes, I took off all attachments, detach all, Flea and i were running round Maroon with a script finder, we found an Elite dance bracelett with a Negative Y position, maybe this could be it.

Also when i teleport back to home, there is no spam until i use the zoom out and rotate with the camera controls.

I can't mute the spam.

i will check all objects in my inventory with scripts.

I haven't fix it yet either (got your message). I've talked to a number of Lindens about it and they all end up scratching their heads. They verify that I have nothing attached and then say something like "extraordinary" or "hmm".

A Linden last night suggested that this might dissappear with Wednesday's patch, but I'm not holding my breath. I've written to support also, but I haven't heard from them yet.

When did you start experiencing your problem? Did it start with the recent patches or/and we're you experimenting with scripts that trigger animations?

I'm curious if the same spots trigger the problem for both of us. Can you tell me if happens at the Noyo TP? It also happens at parcel of land that I recently purchased in Albion (I'm not sure how this could be related, but "my land" menu option shows incomplete information).

It happens on land that I purchased only yesterday in Maroon and it lags me really bad but there is one place in Maroon that it stops but when i cross a line it starts again and if i go back across that line it starts again, so strange.

No one esle who has visited has experienced the problem.

I removed sl and reloaded it also but it didn't do a thing.

I also went through my inventory and took out all objects with scripts and checked them.

Sorry that it is still affecting you, it must be very annoying.

Out of curiosity, Sky...

If you grant perms (i.e. accept the animation)... what does it do? I only ask because that might help narrow down the list of suspects.

Huggs Sio.

No permission is offered so I can't grant it, its just constant pop up in the blue box on the bottom right hand corner.

Ok, here is another interesting point, if i face my view south the spam stops but if i change my view or zoom out it starts again.

Lindens are working on the problem now, Sio, your scanner has found a heap of scripts with negative positions.

I cleared the whole land of scripts and objects and have no scripts running and no attachements and it still persists until I leave the sim.
