Want to get rid of that ridiculous error message, "Gesture is missing from database"? Well, this method worked for me but results may vary for you. Here's what you can try...

- Go into your Gesture folder. Multi-select a bunch of gestures by holding down the Shift key. Be sure not to select anything but gestures. Once done, right-click on your selection and choose "Activate" from the menu choices. You will more than likely see some gestures bold (activate) and others not bold (not activate). This is a Second Life bug but ignore it. Right-click your selection of gestures again and choose "Deactivate" from the menu. Do this for the rest of your gestures in a multi-select fashion so it is quicker for those who have thousands of them.

- If you still have issues, you may have some gestures that are really buggy and require personally opening the gesture and ticking the Active check box on and off. Otherwise, you can just delete the gesture and say, "To hell with it!".

After trying the first or both approaches, relog into Second Life and see if it removes the error message.

Lost way too many of those during these last 6 @@@@@@@@ months. Everytime i find a broken one the @@@@@@ ASSet servive lost another and another!

Search the possible locations that the gestures might be in. go in to inventory and try to find them ( gesture folder ).

Let me make a point about the second approach. My guess, is that the gestures that more than likely will be buggy are the ones that bold up when you Activate them aside from those that don't activate. This probably doesn't make a lot of sense but this is my guess. I say this because I found one that reacted just like I described. I ticked the Active on then off again and then error was gone. I honestly don't know how to describe what is going on here. But yea, it's ridiculous like many other Second Life bugs.

Hahha some of these gestures are older and had been used in objects for a very long time. I Don`t believe its thats way at all.

Missing from database

I noticed that most of the items that i get "missing from database" is older items and things i havent opened or worn in a long time. AND, most of them are prim items, such as having the whole outfit except for the prims part of the skirt. Is there something out there that has delete these "old" items from the database, or is it just a mess up with SL?
