Verifying Protocol Version

Was in world and then crashed - now see's it's due to the power failure.
However, now can't get back in - not getting past the "Verifying protocol version".
I've uninstalled, cleaned up and reinstalled and no joy.
Is this a fall out of the power failure and if so when will it be cleared?
Anyone else getting stuck here or am i alone in my login misery *sobs*

Same here, stuck as everyone else. I think Sl is down. Even trying to get to Secondlife website too a while for page to come up its runnng real slow. Sounds like a big CRASH to me.

Sounds like the CoLoco facility doesn't have any sort of power backup to me...
The website was down earlier today (GMT) and I suspect it's under a heavy load just now. Almost certainly not located in the same facility as the grid servers either!

The grid lost power, SL is litterally off for the moment
