Does running SL in window mode only give the option of 800 x 600 Display Resolution -- I change it manually but then it resets at that resolution every time. My monitor is set to 1152 x 864 btw. I just wonder if this slows me down at all? I would like to do all I can for rendering - it seems like I am having to wait longer for pictures to rez - shopping is torture these days. Second question - and I am hoping someone can help -- I was having problems with lag for any java type windows popping up - anywhere online - so did full scans - and found with spybot, pest patrol and with windows defender. Seems I have a nasty little trojan - called Downloader.AQ - now i have removed it many many times and the software says it succeeded but the little bugger keeps trying to come back while I am online and everytime I restart my computer. The file is under C:\WINDOWS\system32\test.bmp but that is just the launching point for popunder advertisements that come with the trojan. Honestly, I am not dumb but I can not get rid of this - and can't seem to find the fix online - I have found information but nothing that helps really me know how to get rid of it. Even if I clear my cache and open to a blank page then check my cache again - I have pages or cookies from www.ip2location and best-targeted-traffic.com some others occasionally show but those are the consistant ones. Its making me crazy - can someone help? And my appologies if this is not an appropriate place for this question. But it does pop up with the warning when I am in SL too - even if I don't have IE open. Thanks

If you run window mode should be able to run any resolution for SL tho, but eh you wont really see more, buttons and stuff will be smaller tho, handy for building , opening map, or looking in inventory. You should consider dropping IE to another one, its so easy to get trojans on IE you might as well drop firewall. Tried Firefox? You prob have a thing that autodownload itself when you are online, and hide itself, usually in either temp or C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch , wich can store files windows autounpack every time you start pc Normally i use this one Adaware But after using Firefox a few months now i havnt gotten 1 spyware and i browse kinda alot :q Downloader.aq info Files you want to get rid off process: vss_ps.exe process: rsmps.exe: process: vss_ps.exe
