how to broadcast music? (aka DJ?)

Hey, i'm not sure which forum to post this in...

Can anyone help me figure out how to broadcast music in SL? I don't just mean play mp3's either...I mean take the wave-out of my comp and send it over the net to somewhere in SL. Any tips/info is greeeatyly appreciated...

FYI, if someone helps me sort this out, I promise i'll be the best DJ in the entire SL world!

A good bet for you would be to read general web tutorials such as:

(which is old but the principles still apply)

And then once you have it successfully streaming from a player such as Winamp, you can just enter that proper stream URL into a land parcel Music URL.

For more personal help inworld, you might wanna consider asking your fave DJs in SL for tips. For example, I like Trinity Serpentine and Nala Galatea (aka DJ Trin + Gala)... they have a lot of experience and are very friendly!
