nope You arent, im just a grey glop with a cute face and another grey glop on my head surrounded by grey glop, with splashes of red, purplr and gree glop

haahaa, yeah I can just see my face and hair. All the rest of me is grey!! OY

I know of several people suffering from this grey problem - only on clothing not objects. A Linden suggest moving to an unpopulated sim - had no effect. Some official word would be nice.

Ditto for me. Had been running well in terms of colors and appearance. This week grey is back and I hate the color grey. I run SL on very speedy direct connect broadband, plenty of RAM, good graphics card. I was hoping somewhere some Linden would mention what may have changed...

ok.. its the sims, it did actually rez abit for me, went from gray to "missing image" hahaha..... anyhoo

sim : Goddess of Love3
avatars : 88 (belive it or not -.o)
rez worked for pretty much everyone for me

sim : Pogon
avatars : 44
rez ...barly working , can only see 4-5 people half rezzed gray
They are slowly going from gray blob to > missing texture < and some half of them rezzes.... quite painfully slow

Rezzing prim texture/land not a issue at any, its the people, seems we're not reciving baked texture.

1. Client rebake texture,
2. Sends rebaked texture to asset
3. Asset sends to anyone in view of that person so they appear textured.

Somewhere in there is under heaaavy load, its slowly appearing now.

noticed peoples profiles and search anything is awefull slow, so its not really much of a guesswork anymore, something is majorly slowing SL down \o ...finally i can see people tho.

Any sim (names) do you have problems getting to?

some tricks i do when i cant tp, usually one of these work

*leave the sim youre in and try again

*tp to a sim near where youre going, then tp to where you want to go (this one usually work every time)

*relog and do the login : simname ;

17,507 logged in ATM. Instability generally sets in at 16,000.
