RESTORING COMP - Question @ SL INVENTORY-FOLDERS

i am running windows XP

i plan on completely restoring and re-installing my comp

i do this every 6 months or so, as part of my system's maintenance

this means that everything on my hard drive and in systems,
will be like factory new

THIS IS A 2 PART QUESTION:

in my comp i have Second Life folders in 2 locations.
1. one in C Drive
2. one in Documents & Settings/Application Data

Question 1.

are there any SL Folders and/or Files in these locations
i should SAVE, to re-insert after i restore my comp.

Question 2.

after i re-install the Second Life program into my "new" comp,
will my SL Inventory and all of its contents in "Library and My Inventory"
remain intact as it is now?

if not, what can i do to preserve all of its contents and items
that can and canNOT be copied?

thanks

Depends if you want to save your Preferences! If so, then yes... mosey on over to

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\SecondLife

and save the contents of this folder and subfolders. You may wish to clear the "cache" folder tho, 'cuz it can be rather large. Otherwise, if you don't save them... your Preferences will be defaulted when you next install SL.

It remains intact. All your Second Life Inventory is kept on our servers--not stored locally on your computer.
