kk I've been patient and tried for the last 2 days to post to new products ( jpg & bmp) to no avail. Anyone have a clue what's up with that?

2nd.... before you tell me to post img's... I would if I knew how. Sadly i'm still fairly illiterate about these and clicking on the link [IMG]code is On at the bottom of the new thread page isn't much help. It says I can use them and gives examples but doesn't say much else for a noob to go on. If there is a help page I can read with instructions (where do I get the picture url? Does it have to be posted on a web page? etc. ) plz post it here & i'll leave you all alone.

sorry to be a pain

I had the same problem. The solution is to click on the Insert Picture Icon/Button (yellow background with possible mountain range on it) and copy the image URL from whatever website it is stored on. You can get the image by right clicking the image on the webpage and going to the Properties and copying the image URL. I don't think we can do direct attachments anymore straight from the hard drive. If you don't have a website of your own or don't use SLB/SLEX you can always sign up for Flikr, Photobucketm PIcture Trail and use them for storing snapshots.

Sorry, there was a problem with old forum attachments as they were filled up to the brim, leaving no space for new ones. Jeska cleared them out and there's new space... so you should be able to now--however, like Jen says, I'd suggest using an external hosting site for image linkage. (I do it myself.) :)
