Ok, here's the situation... I had a large object (a bar to be specific) that I wanted removed from the second floor of my store. I tried to delete it and it wouldnt delete, it took several several attempts before the object was actually deleted... however, it still "exists" even though its not there. I cant walk through where it was located, neither can my customers. I've tried to remedy the situation by clearing out the entire plot of land, rebuilding and replacing all my items... but it has NOT helped.
What else can I do?
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Check so see if the object is stuck at 0,0,0 on your sim, I have seen it happen a few times. Deleting it from 0,0,0 makes the phantom left over copy disappear too.
Also, a sim reboot typically fixes the problem too.

Why accessorize when you can Xessorize?

Ok, thank you so much for replying.
0,0,0 on the sim that my property is on is not accesable by me... however, under the land options for that land it only shows 280 prims, all of which belong to the parcel holder.
I've submitted a ticket so that hopefully this can be resolved.

Its my experianece that they don't show up in the parcel counts. They are somewhere in limbo, neither on your land or the corner, but also in both, its like purgatory for prims

Usually they go away after a sim restart, which looks like that will happen Wednesday.

We just had this same issue with prims being invisible. It did take a region restart to correct it. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-242

More of the same

This has happened to me and my partner several times.. we came to the deduction that it if you try to delete it more then once, thats when it becomes a ghost prim.. This is however just a hypothisis, but it does seem to fit into the mold of the problem. You go to delete it.. it doesn't delete.. You click and delete again.. That's when the ghost prim appears. And the only way to get rid of is to indeed restart your particular sim.. This is not a new bug, and do not know if there is a fix in the works for this..

This seems to be exactly what has just happened to me. I tried to delete an entire building - nothing happened, so I 'deleted' it again. It disappeared but a huge invisible block remains. Do I really have to wait for a restart?

Ive had the same problem sevral times. And ive called them limboprims. Without a sim reset it takes sevral days for the limbo-object to disapear.
I delete the object but nothing hapens. but i can still move it. If i look in to the edit menu i notice that the object has no creator or owner anymore.
When i relog the object is gone but the limbo prims are still there. pretty weird. I have been experiencing this from 1.16. and its hard te recreate the problem. mostly happens while there is lag.

Ghost prims are all over today. Some see them, some don't. But all are affected physically. YAY .. I see dead prims (rolls her eyes) I apologize for that.
