Hi,
i am having big problems with my avatar appearing all black.

So here is my diagnosis:
If i go with my Wireless Lan Card Online everything works fine, but if i go through my hard and stable cable connection my avatar is all black. Only the face is normal. It has something to do with my Network connection so.

The strange thing is, that everything else in SL works fine, just my avatar texture doesnt want to be good. If i go in Edit Appearance you can't see the bodyparts, but instead of it you get random pictures. I tried to rebake and did all the things the knowledge base recommended me. Tried different client versions and FirstViews. It can't be the firewall or my hardware because with the wireless lan card everything works fine.

It has something to do with the changes LindenLabs made in the last couple of updates, because it worked for me with my stable cable connection fine until the last days. Can't help me anymore and want my stable cable protection back instead of my wireless lan.

It can't be the ports or any restrictions of my provider, because everything worked fine earlier and my wireless lan works perfect for me. So what has LindenLab changed what causes me now problems?

Please help! Thank you!

Yes it can, you download texture and bake it into what your avatar wear then upload it to server, then anyone can see oddities, wich graphic card do you have?.

I have this same issue when I run SL on any but my primary monitor. If you have a multiple monitor setup, that could be the issue.

Thank God! That was it! It was a multiple monitor setup.

Thx Thili and Pasiphae for the support!

Really saved me with it.
