how can we fix this problem?

how can we fix the problem with the avi not logging acturally out?
why does that happen, useally u could just im the person and they left, but its like stale they stay in for 5 hrs or more and still u cant get in
can a linden help us? would a restart help?
ive tried everything

create a alt and log in msg yourself, then you can log in with other, or have someone you know talk to you ingame, and your AV will become "offline" (msn/aim/icq/whatever them and tell them to say hi to your AV)

that doesnt work i did that to my bfs one when he was gone and hes still in there after 6 hrs, hes just now got home from classes.

Not today. I stood there watching someone I was also talking to in RL log off. It actually said she logged off..but her body stayed there for at least 3 more hours until I got sick of trying to tp out. I'm sure my body is also there standing with hers now since I got brave enough to try the "log out and relog at home location" option. Not that standing there was much more interesting than hitting connect and taking bets on if the client will freeze or if I'll get the "we tried really hard but you still can't come in" message.

have a friend IM me, which im sure IM BLOGGED with ims right now and someone yahood me and asked me earlier why i was NOT responding and if i was OK?

then what? i will show as offline? but i am online, and stuck there..lol....this will sign me off??? im trying everything to sign myself off, but no help
