Me won't turn while walking forward with arrow keys

Hi, i got a new keyboard, a really nice, slim keyboard. BUT! when i walk forward and press left (or right), me doesnt turn! just walking forward. if i left again, me turns.. but this just drives me crazy.
w,a,s,d works good... any ideas that can help me? i used install cd for the keyboard, but no luck... (

Could be a setting preventing simultaneous keystrokes. Universal access (on mac) has some settings that could be interfering. Windows must have an equivalent. Try adjusting key repeat rate.

I FOUND THE ANSWER!! when numlock is ON, my arrow keys dont work good. (see problem above.)

its a genius slimstar keyboard, so if anyone else encounters this, just TURN OFF numlock.

i think it is sometimes due to the way the keyboard is "wired" to it's chip, it happend on every keyboards with one or more keys and depending of the brand/model it will be more or less anoying keys
