I am just wondering,because Second Life on my new Dell notebook can run to well or have
or have to much lag during the game.can any one help me pleas

Hi, I run SL off a Dell notebook. Initially I had problems with lag and freezing etc.
Best things I came up with to fix it were, to hit ctrl-p in game to bring up preferences, go to all the graphics options and turn them down a bit. Also I bought more RAM for my notebook, that helped a lot. I've got 1GB RAM now.
Admittedly I have a fairly fast internet connection 1.5mbs. When thing's get really laggy I sometimes reduce the size of the viewing screen to and that seems to speed things up.
