alrighty, first of all, i don't live in the US, but ping times to any online game are normally low. The problem in my case, according to winmtr, is that there are way too many hops between my pc and any LL's server, or anything SL related. Usually, my "normal" packet loss lies between 20 and 40%, depending on time of the day. i am surprised whatsoever, to see that my latest attempt to fix this problem has worked, with noticeable performance increase. Not only in SL, but on other online games, like Battlefield 2, UT2004, City of Heroes, and voice applications like Skype, Teamspeak and ventrilo. My guide this time was on this site: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/5793basically, you'll need a tool like DrTCP. to set the MTU or Maximum Transmission Unit on your NIC, and you need access to your router to change this setting as well. I really hope this helps

I'm almost pissed off that the answer was so simple. Haha. Thank you just doesn't cut it, Maxx. This problem has been plaguing me for two weeks.
