Ok - I know I can be a bit thick but can't find an answer I can understand to this - if I deed land to a group are they or me responsible for the tier fees for that land - I have already contributed my 512.
If I deed & contribute land to the group who is responsible for the tier fees.
I want the group to have use of the land but want to continue paying the tier fees myself
is this possible?
sorry if this is all repetitive to you out there but sometimes it's impossible to get a simple answer to a question.
Thanks

Since you already donated tier to the group, there's nothing else you have to do :).

You will be billed for the tier you donate to any group.

As an aside, remember that any tier donated to a group is considered "used" by default. If you sold the group land and kept your 512m² donated, it wouldn't matter to LL that it's going unused, you'd have to zero the donation out in order for it to not be billed again.

ok the group belongs to me and one other. the 512 was ages ago and no longer an issue. I have bought some land and as I have no use for it at the moment would like the group to use it - but I want to continue paying the tier fees myself. I want to know if I deed it to the group will this be possible
cheers

People are responsible for covering their own tier bills, regardless of how that tier is being used.

Yep. Open up the About Land dialog and set both the group _and_ the "owner makes contribution..." checkboxes. That will set the land to be group land and add to your group tier donation.
