I was in the process of trying to put together a set of AOs - in the course of dragging the script to the object contents, I'd inadvertently said 'Yes' when a prompt came up asking for my permission to animate my avatar. I think I may have accidentally placed the script somewhere that I wasn't supposed to (inside my avatar?)
Now - my avatar runs through a series of random animations without any warning, and won't go back to normal unless I turn all animations off - ay which point, I go back to walking silly again.
Is there any way that all of the defaults can be reset remotely (by LL or from another script) for my avatar? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling SL without any success. Is there a solution to this problem?

That's very odd. There is no way innately to change the default animations of your avatar. The only way to do that is with an Animation Overrider. I would detach all objects from yourself (There's a menu command to do so, I belive it's under Edit, though not sure) and see if the problem persists.
If the problem goes away, then one of your attachments was an AO and that may be what is messed up. Once you figure out what attachment is in error, you can probably contact the maker for assistance.
If the problem does not go away, it's possible that your cache may be screwed up. Have SL clear your cache (via Preferences) and se if that helps.
Though my money's on an errant AO.

Is was a free AO I got from the freebie Junkyard - I'll have to see what I can do to get it fixed. I did exactly as suggested. neither detach all or refreshing the cache seem to work. I don't know if the ani is actually linked to my UUID now or not.
