Dear fellows,

Ive a problem with my wlan connection. When I connect with my wired Desktop, everything is just fine, but by wireless lan (for my notebook) the router crashes after 2 or 3 minutes...it crashes so hard, so I have to reset it.
I tried nearly everything (yap, the ports of the firewall are open, Iam even shut down the firewall for the notebook) Btw...its a Belkin router, which worked just fine for games like wow or daoc....

Have you tried updating the firmware on that router?

This is a well known problem with SL, and there is no fix for it.

The problem is a result of the transport protocol, UDP, generally munged by the way WiFi transmits (CSMA iirc). The end result is packets arrive out of order to the client, which does not know how to handle them, and eventually crashes.
