My friend had to make a New Password like the rest of us,.. but it sounds like they instantly forgot it.
They cannot seem to do anything,.. anything they try ends in "Call Us" and I'm not sure their Phone is working currently. They are stressing and beating themself up because they can't remember their new password and they can't seem to get help past " Call Us" which I'm assumeing their phone is currently down (I can't remember which of my friends are haveing phone problems, but them whineing they can't get past that is suggesting they might be one to me).
Any suggestions,.. Help,.. Lindens that can help,... any other way they can get things fixed?

I don't think that is there any more (from the week after the attacks or whatever) atleast I don't recall seeing it any more,... remember they don't remember their new password either so the first thing for that is probably to put in your current Password. I'll tell my friend your suggestion though.

I'll tell my friend your suggestion though. It is still there, along with the normal "Forgot your password?" link which is.. well.. right next to where the password goes. If, for whatever reason, that does not take them where they want to go, they will have to email support if they don't have a phone (kinda weird, though I would think that if they didn't, they could go to a neighbor or friends house and use their phone.. it's a toll free number). You do not need to know your current password for either of the options listed, since the first one (yellow alert box) LL reset the pw's so nobody knew them anyways, and when it says "Forgot your password?", umm, well, that should be kinda self explanatory.

Thank You, Skye McArdle , I will tell my friend everything you said.
I think my friend lives in the middle of No Where, that's kinda normal for the friends I talk to the most online it seems like XD Which is probably why they are on so much if you think about it. I forget where they are exactly... But I have had friends on farms or at old farm houses (that no longer are farms) or in the middle of no where in Austrilia (even though I am told that is rare now).
I have been in the No Phone situation many times (cordless phones can be evil and I know a couple people haveing problems with those right now in reality too) where I could still be online. I have a feeling my friend will ultimately try E-Mail since there seem to be glitches where they keep getting sent to the "Call Us" page.

From: Dnel DaSilva Two words: Pay Phone
Hell its a Toll free number isn't it? That does not work for so many people. Many Cities and Towns do not have Pay Phones. Then where I live there use to be a ton,.. but the Morons here are distructive and keep ripping out the part you hold in your hand or the entire phone or they manage to bash the thing to pieces. So there is only one place left here there MIGHT be a Pay Phone,.. and those keep getting ripped out so they might have given up on those ones to at this point. But like I said before this might be one of my friends in the middle of nowhere that's miles from neighbors,.. I can't remember. They have said everything takes them to or tells them to go to a Call Us webpage on SL,.. I think it ends in "callus.html" they even said or something. But I have told them Skye did say there is some way to get support through E-Mail so they might be looking into that right now.
