and its getting annoying. i have just unistalled and reinstalled the program, i have Windows Vista with over a gig of Ram i even have a Ram booster cause i feel the ram isnt working to its full potential.
recently i have been crashing straight to desktop when i click on an item im making soon after logging in. and now i keep crashing straight to desktop as soon as the logging in bar fills up. okay now i briefly get in game then it crashs to desktop. i have been looking through the requirements on my computer specs.
Windows System Requirements
Internet Connection*: i have a cable Operating System: i have Windows vista Computer Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) M CPU 440 1.86GHz Computer Memory: 1012 gigs Video/Graphics Card: i have the 945 chipset Computer Processor: it says its (Vista) 32-bit and ACPI (x86) based PC
now judging fromt hat and my knowledge which ii know there are more knowledgeable people out there.
I think its either my Processor or my Graphics. what do you guys think?

I think its the game. I keep getting the same thing. I log in fine sometimes. Seems like I'm going to be okay. So, I turn and then I crash. I also get this. I've Uninstalled/REINSTALLED second life twice now, and I get this message during the install.

@cattcreature: The processor and memory are fine, it's probably the graphics. Take a look at this recent thread on the 945 chipset, ironically in this guy's case it turned out to be his network bandwidth tho: /111/12/22/1.html@Chimn: This could be some sort of legit error with your hardware, but be aware that this error is frequently seen when using an invasive antivirus scanner like Norton or McAfee. When I had McAfee I could sort of get things to work by excluding the SecondLife cache from its scans (it had a tendency to silently sequester textures), but really things did not work well until I disabled it when running SL. If you find that is the problem, you may want to change to lighter-weight virus protection (I use AVC), or just disable virus checking while doing SL (make sure your email isn't running in the background!).
