If I am logged in for a while...say more than an hour, I right click on an object and instead of the normal pie menu that has the EDIT and TAKE on it, it flashes for a second on that menu then immediatley jumps to the MORE Menu with the DELETE on it. I have to relog to get back to the normal menu or click on the Build button to get into edit mode. Very annoying. Is anyone experiencing this?

Yes, this has been a bug since the change to new fany flashing Pie. I get it the most often when right clicking on HUD attachments. It usually detaches in blink rather than letting me select. Sometimes it drops the HUD which then it is gone from your inventory as well (even if it is copyable) and you have to look around and pick it backup. The work around is to right click and HOLD then put the pointer on the selection you want and release the button.

I see this happen, but only when I'm clicking on something at the edge of the screen, and the menu gets opened offset a little to keep it completely onscreen so something else is under the mouse. It's gotten worse in the last update because the menu is larger when it appears so it's more likely to get pushed under the mouse .

From: Myoukitsune Kirkorian Let me just say this... pie menu "gestures"... Worst. Idea. EVER. Pie menu gestures aren't a new feature. They existed before this update: you could click-drag-release with the old menu. The only thing that's changed is the appearance of the menu. If there's a bug showing up as a result of it (and if it happens with HUD objects in the center of the screen, there's definitely a bug) it's not simply the result of adding "gestures"... because they were already there.

In the old pie menu , could you drag-click-release with the release point being outside the menu circle? If you couldn't, then there has been a change to something beyond appearance. The release notes for preview 1.11.2.1 say "* Fixed right-clicking the edges of the viewer window automatically selecting pie menu items", maybe this will affect the problem in the original post.

From: SuezanneC Baskerville In the old pie menu , could you drag-click-release with the release point being outside the menu circle? I'm not sure. I know I had to be very careful in the old menu when releasing after dragging, but I think you're right... they didn't used to have an unlimited radius. That's a bad mistake, and they should return to the old model. Actually, they should go all the way and implement gestural pie menus completely. In particular, if you drag down to "More..." or any other menu with a submenu, it should switch to that menu when you cross the outer border of the pie. That allows you to use a combined gesture to navigate multiple levels of menu. Of course they need to ALSO go out of your way to avoid moving things around (for example, they should have left "Wear" under "More..." and put the new rating menu under "Rating..." .

I've noticed it more when building..and it really wasn't affected me before the 1.11 upgrade. The more menu is rarely triggered for me. It's more often than not the autopilot facility, although I've once or twice ended up wearing a large build on my head, which is kind of embarrassing when you have an audience. This bug, "Right-clicking near the viewer window edges will automatically select a pie menu item", has been internally resolved. It's already fixed on the SIVA Preview version: https://secondlife.com/tiki/tiki-index.php?page=Preview+Release+Notes* Fixed right-clicking the edges of the viewer window automatically selecting pie menu items http://secondlife.com/community/preview.php and will be available on the Main Grid soon. Thanks for your observations.
