When you have an object in Edit and open to change the color of the Texture if you close the Edit Dialog before closing the Color Editor Dialog SL crashes... Can someone confirm that this is a global bug and not just my PC...
Heratiki
Steps:
Create Box... Click More in Edit Dialog Click on Texture Tab Click on the Texture Color Box (brings up color changer dialog) Click X on Edit Dialog Box CRASH

This doesn't happen to me. It closes the edit window, and the color picker window at the same time. No crash, everything is as it should be.

Yeah it seems I've narrowed it down to having it apply textures immediately and clicking on Blank (to change to the blank texture) then leaving the texture dialog open and closing the edit dialog... It just crashes... Odd...

Heratiki Hmm, there used to be a different crash bug having to do with applying the blank texture. Maybe you've stumbled onto a long lost remnant of it.

Good work Dev Crew... Heratiki Happy you noticed--it's a big boon. I remember when they used to be a lot longer, and now, people who are new to SL will never know what that was like. That progress bar is so speedy now! I was actually looking for more posts on the SL Forums about speedy TPs, and haven't seen as many as I'd hoped--maybe everyone is just really enjoying their teleports tho! Also, I've not been able to repro this bug yet but make sure you send a bug report when you have a lock on it.

This is a bit OT, but since you brought it up; Teleporting is a different animal now, than before 1.9. Arriving at your destination is much much faster, which is good. However, before, when I arrived at my destination, the majority of the prims were already present for me, and textures were already loading. Now, however, I'll zip into my destination, and find an empty sim that slowly pops into existance around me, both with and without textures. Most prims will pop in with the grey textures, while some will pop with the textures fully loaded. But it often feels like the prims have started taking as long as the textures to show. THis is with a 3MB d/l DSL connection and a high-end gaming rig, so I thinkit's just an issue of being fed the information from the server.

From: Torley Linden Also, I've not been able to repro this bug yet but make sure you send a bug report when you have a lock on it. Ok... Check these steps for repeating the bug... Create a Box... Edit the Box... Click the More Tab... Click on the Texture Tab... (EDIT: Further Refined what was said here) Click the Texture Box (The Box that shows you the current texture)... Click on Blank (Make sure that Apply Immediately is selected) And Click Select... Click the Texture Color Box (The Box that shows you the current texture color)... Choose a color of any flavor (Also make sure that apply immediately is selected)... Leave the Texture Color Window Open and click the X at the top right of the Edit Dialog... Sorry for spelling things out the way I did I just wanted to be as thorough as possible with my explanation as I am trying to find out if it's a certain type of Computer or just SL in General... BTW My PC Specs Are: (This machine is not in anyway overclocked or tampered with) AMD Athlon 64 2800+ (1.80Ghz) 1024MB Corsair Standard SDRAM (PC3200) Asus K8V-SE Deluxe Motherboard MSI Nvidia FX-5200 128MB (Running the Nvidia 8.3.6.2 Drivers Straight from Nvidia) SoundBlaster PCI 512 (As up to date drivers as you can obtain as it's been discontinued) Windows XP Professional SP2 (All current updates installed Including .NET Framework 2) Hope this helps... I've also sent a bug report... Heratiki Turnbull

I just posted also, but I was noticing that if you still have a prim selected for edit and have the texture and/or tint window open, and hit the x on the edit window, I am crashing hard, and since I am a builder, this has been causing me some grief. And btw, Yes, Tp rates have been beautiful, and much appreciated!!! Most folks only write for negative items so you guys should not feel bad, the tp's are great thank you!!!!
