Word of warning when building in the sandboxes

Just a word of warning when using LL's sandboxes (wanderton, newcomb, goguen, cordova) etc..

I was building a major project there, and without warning half of it got deleted.
I dont know if it's an automated thing, or if a Linden personally visits the sim and decides to delete what they feel like, this is COMPLETELY BS.

I spent 2-3 hours building something, and had it vanish in front of my face...
Sure it was 1500 prims, but there was 10000 prims free on the sim, so its not like I was hogging anything down.

It says it cleans every 5 hours, well, thats a lie, I was only there for 2 maybe 3 at the most. Didn't even go afk or anything, was constantly building.
And they deleted it on me, and set me back hours.

Just be careful with the LL sandboxes, save often ....

the 5 hour timer doesnt revolve around your schedule

if you showed up during hour 3 and stayed 2 ....

Also, when autoreturn is done, all your items are selected at once and returned as a single object (look for the multi object icon) into your lost and found folder, you should be able to pull out your build and continue where you left off from. Also, if you're going to embark on such big builds, perhaps you should invest in getting some land so you can control when objects get returned.

Siege, message Myria Myriam or Athena Sterling or Joker Opus or Cerze Ophelia and ask about being invited to their Surreal sandbox..It's private and gets wiped every 3 days.

They usually welcome professionals like yourself...and have strict rules on weapons testing and griefing with sandbox mods almost always on site.

or..check to see if other organizations have private sandboxes that will invite you to their group..I haven't used public sandboxes in years.You deserve better.

Im already in the surreal group, as to why i don't build at their sandbox more often, is beyond me..
But I think From now on ill be making more visits there.

And maybe I'll see you there ? Come back im sure the "falling out" is forgotten about.

But why would it be that more then half my objects were returned, and some left over?

every where else on the map it IS from the moment you set something down

but on linden sandbox land it doesnt, the used to have signs up with a schedule, but its been awhile since ive been in one

and they could have been ghosted, blanking a entire sims worth of prims does weird things
